Brooklyn Crush

On Saturday afternoon November 15,  I attended the Brooklyn Crush “Wine & Artisanal Food Festival”. It was held at Industry City, a complex of reused factory buildings at the waterfront in Sunset Park Brooklyn. It was a Spartan event space. The event was open to the consumer and consisted of a day and evening session, I attended the day session. They provided some food to accompany the wines including some excellent pizza from SottoCasa pizzeria. As with many consumer wine events, there were many inexpensive, unknown labels being poured from small importers/distributors.
